Lookrobe is a free wardrobe app without a Lookrobe account. This notice describes the website edition and its optional links.
What stays on your device
Wardrobe photos, cutouts, labels, groups, saved outfits, wear calendar, style preferences and scan drafts are stored in your browser using IndexedDB and local storage. Image recognition and cutouts run on your device. Lookrobe does not send wardrobe images to an AI server.
Storage belongs to the website origin and browser or installed app. It is not a cloud account or a guaranteed permanent backup. Clearing data, uninstalling, device loss or browser storage management can remove it. Export a backup in Settings. The backup contains your images and wardrobe details in a readable JSON file; anyone with the file can read them. Unsaved scan drafts are not exported.
When network requests happen
- App hosting: Cloudflare Pages serves the app. Like any web host, it receives connection information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser headers.
- AI downloads: jsDelivr, Hugging Face and its file-delivery hosts, and IMG.LY (staticimgly.com) supply code and model files. These providers receive download requests and connection information, not your wardrobe images. Detailed scanning has a separate first-download notice. Cached models can work offline.
- Fonts: Google Fonts supplies the serif font. Google receives font requests and normal connection information. System fonts are used if unavailable.
- Weather, optional: city search sends your query to Open-Meteo. Forecast requests send the selected coordinates, rounded to three decimal places. Use my location asks the browser for permission; the returned coordinates are also rounded to three decimal places and sent to BigDataCloud to find a locality name. The selected place and forecast are stored locally. You can choose a city manually instead. Automatic travel updates are opt-in and only run when permission is already granted. Settings → Weather → Stop using my location deletes the saved place, coordinates and forecast from your phone and stops all weather and place requests until you choose again. You can also revoke location permission in your browser or phone settings.
These services process their own network requests under their policies: Cloudflare, Open-Meteo, BigDataCloud, Hugging Face, jsDelivr, IMG.LY and Google.
Feedback and analytics
Lookrobe does not include advertising, tracking cookies or a third-party product-analytics script. Beta engagement is measured through voluntary feedback answers: first-outfit completion, days used, usefulness and problems reported. Nothing is sent automatically from your wardrobe.
The feedback link opens Google Forms. Responses are stored there for the Lookrobe maintainer. The form does not require an email address or sign-in; do not include sensitive details. Google still processes the visit under its own policy. Use the form to ask about this notice or request deletion of a response; include its approximate time and enough text to locate it. We cannot identify which anonymous response is yours otherwise.
If you choose Open ChatGPT for cutout help, that opens another service. Lookrobe does not automatically send the image there. Anything you choose to upload yourself is handled by that service.
Your choices
You can use manual labels, decline location, skip detailed scanning, export your wardrobe and stop using the app. Delete individual pieces in the app when wanted. To remove all local data, use your browser’s website-data controls for this address after saving any backup you want to keep. Files you exported to Files or Drive must be managed separately.
